Standard Fees

• £25 per hour (pro rata), plus expenses

• Minimum charge £25 – ideal for a single look-up or record retrieval

Tailored Research Projects

For larger projects – such as tracing a family tree, uncovering the life of an individual, or exploring your ancestral parish – fees are tailored to suit each assignment. A budget is agreed in advance, and a deposit is normally payable before research begins.

My fees cover:

✔ Detailed report writing with clear sources
✔ Family tree charts or compiled records where applicable
✔ Regular communication and updates

Additional Costs

• Document copying & photography permits

• Postage or travel expenses (charged at cost only)
